Starfield On PS5 Isn't Ruled Out, Xbox's Phil Spencer Says

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has once again commented on the company’s strategy as it relates to launching its own first-party games on other platforms. As Spencer has been saying for a long time already, he believes Xbox is strongest and best-positioned when it launches its own games on other platforms. A game remaining exclusive to Xbox in perpetuity “doesn’t work for us” going forward, he said.

Speaking to Destin Legarie, Spencer was asked directly if he could confirm if Bethesda’s RPG Starfield would remain exclusive to Xbox on console for the time being. Spencer said, “No.”

He added: “There is no reason for me to put a ring fence around any game and say, ‘This game will not go to a place where it will find players, where it would have business success for us.'”

Spencer said what his team has found is that launching Xbox games on other platforms amounts to “better business” results for the company, which in turn allows Microsoft to invest in the kinds of g…

F9's Sung Kang Teases His Star Wars Kenobi Role, Says His Character Has A Lightsaber

Fast & Furious star Sung Kang, who plays Han in the action movie series, has spoken about one of his next projects, the Star Wars TV show Kenobi. Speaking to ScreenRant, Kang said he’s been a fan of Star Wars since he was a kid, dressing up like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in cheap department store costumes for Halloween. Now he has to keep pinching himself because he’s actually in a Star Wars production.

Not only did Kang speak about his Star Wars fandom, but he teased that his character–who remains a mystery–will wield a lightsaber in Kenobi. This opens up some interesting possibilities in regards to who he might be playing–a Jedi? We’ll have to wait to find out.

“I used to dress in the cheap Kmart plastic Halloween costumes–[of] Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader–almost every single day from eight to thirteen years old. My friends and I would play pretend, we would make our own lightsabers out of, you know, toilet paper centers and stuff like that and paper to…

Years after launch, Bethesda Game Studios continues to update and support Fallout 76, and this continues in 2022 with new content on the way throughout the year.

The developer has now published the Fallout 76 roadmap for 2022, and it includes updates called Invaders From Beyond (Spring), Test Your Metal (Summer), Expeditions: The Pitt (Fall), and Nuka-World On Tour (Winter). The Nuka-World On Tour update, meanwhile, introduces new public events and a special region boss to take on Come from Sports betting site VPbet . The full spec…

Insurgency Review

Another military online shooter? Don’t groan and roll your eyes just yet. Despite being a stand-alone update on a seven-year-old Half-Life 2 mod, Insurgency’s freshness runs deeper than its familiar urban warfare settings and “good guys vs. the terrorist infidels” trappings might suggest. This first-person multiplayer killfest pushes cooperative team play in interesting directions, using hyperrealism and a unique team role structure to drive its frenetic team-based firefights. Granted, it’s not the slickest-looking shooter, but the dated look of these battlefields melts away as the intense tactical encounters heat up. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Like being shot in real life, it takes only a bullet or two to end your life in Insurgency. This makes getting dropped as you sneak out from cover or dart across an alleyway a jarring experience. Without any sort of map or radar system beyond your curr…

Telltale's The Walking Dead- The Final Season Episode 2 Review

Editor’s note: Prior to the launch of Episode 2 – Suffer the Children, developer Telltale Games was hit with extensive layoffs and as of this writing is no longer continuing its existing projects. As The Walking Dead: The Final Season had four scheduled episodes, this review is reflective of those outside circumstances and evaluates Suffer the Children both as an individual episode and the potential end to Telltale’s Walking Dead series. This review also contains spoilers for Episode 1 – Done Running.

There’s a moment maybe two-thirds through Suffer the Children where the kids of Ericson Academy are sitting around playing a game, a sort of hybrid between the card game War and Truth or Dare. The youngest of the kids, Tennessee, is asked about a thought he has or a belief he holds that he doesn’t tell anyone else. Tenn’s answer is simple. History moves through ages: The Stone Age, the Ice Age, and so on. It stands to…

Sony Files Patent Application For Temperature-Changing PS5 Controller

A new patent application suggests that Sony is looking to implement temperature feedback into its PlayStation controllers.

First spotted by Exputer, Sony filed a patent application for a material that can simulate temperature feedback to its PlayStation controllers in order to reflect what is going on during gameplay. The filing notes that typical gaming controllers usually use plastic materials that are hard to bend or deform.

The purpose of the technology is to bring that issue to light and create a way to provide a more enriching haptic experience. The filing reads, “An aspect of the present invention to solve the above problem of the conventional example is a controller that includes a sensor using an elastically deformable elastic member, and this sensor detects user’s contact with or deforming action of the elastic member and outputs an electric signal based on the detected contact or deforming action in question.”

As for the temperature aspect, one example i…

Signalis Rings – How To Solve The Empress Statue Puzzle

Things have gotten a bit meaty in the Nowhere chapter of Signalis. Rusty, too. Perhaps it reminds you of a certain school in a certain foggy town. The goal of this area is to gather six hexagonal crests and slot them into the door. Most of these can either be found through exploration or a reasonably simple puzzle, but you might get stumped by one in particular. This puzzle involves placing rings on a statue’s hand. It’s not a simple matter of blinging up their marble fingers, however. Once you have those rings, you’ll need to figure out where to put them. We’re here to help.

The Rings of Power

The statue has four fingers that can fit rings. Thumb rings are a thing, but let’s pretend they aren’t. Despite what intuition may tell you, there are only three rings you need to collect. All can be found through exploration, so gathering them is pretty straightforward as long as you don’t fall for the wild goose chase of a fourth rin…
